Inclement Weather Notifications

In the event of a school closure due to inclement weather, Jenks Public Schools will notify parents/guardians and employees via the following methods:

  • Automated phone calls, text messages, and emails

  • Clear message posted on the homepage of the District website (jenksps.org)

  • Posts on all JPS social media platforms (Facebook, X, and Instagram)

  • Information will be shared with local media outlets to post on their websites, over-the-air programming, and social media

 The safety and security of students and staff is the top priority at Jenks Public Schools. District officials closely monitor all forecasts and weather-related data to make informed decisions on closures, early dismissals, late releases, and the running of bus routes.
