
Inclement Weather Notifications
In the event of a school closure due to inclement weather, Jenks Public Schools will notify parents/guardians and employees via the following methods:
Automated phone calls, text messages, and emails
Clear message posted on the homepage of the District website (jenksps.org)
Posts on all JPS social media platforms (Facebook, X, and Instagram)
Information will be shared with local media outlets to post on their websites, over-the-air programming, and social media
The safety and security of students and staff is the top priority at Jenks Public Schools. District officials closely monitor all forecasts and weather-related data to make informed decisions on closures, early dismissals, late releases, and the running of bus routes.
