Online Transfer Applications are for the 2024-2025 school year only and are currently available. Applications for the 2025-2026 school year will be available on June 1, 2025. Please submit all applications online at that time. State testing numbers are available from the school that your child is attending. Students who have not attended school or are coming from out of state will not have a testing number. Check the box in the paragraph above the state testing field. Once you have submitted the application the State will assign a testing number to your child.

Transfers for the 2024-2025 school year are currently available. Transfers for 2025-2026 school year will be open on the State's website beginning June 1, 2025. 

Jenks will begin processing requests July 1, 2025, parents/guardians will be notified by email. 

Please submit applications via the following link, Transfer. 

• Once you are there, go to the following section. Student Transfer Application

• Place your cursor on the down arrow, you must answer one of the following questions that are listed there.

• The following question, the student desires to transfer to a different district than they are currently enrolled. this question is for those students who do not currently attend JPS. This type of transfer is referred to as an Open transfer, this type of transfer is for students who do not live in the district.

• The next question is the student desires to transfer to another school within the same district: this type of transfer is for students who currently attend JPS and want the opportunity to attend another JPS school site.

• Please Note, you will need your child's State Testing ID number if your child has been enrolled in an Oklahoma public school. You may obtain the number from the school that your child currently attends or the previous one.

• If your child has not been enrolled into an Oklahoma school, please click the box next to; Check here if the student is currently enrolled in Homeschool/Private Schools, the student is moving into Oklahoma from another state or country, or the student has never attended a public school in the State of Oklahoma.

• If your child has an IEP, (Individual Education Plan) then you will need the date of the last IEP meeting.

• If the child is a sibling of another student who is on a transfer, please email, terri.shiplett@jenksps.org letting her know.
  

Reminders

• Transfer applications that are submitted on the 2024-2025 form but are for the 2025-2026 will be processed as an error. The parent/guardian must complete the 2024-2025 application to be considered for a transfer or added to the waitlist. Once the transfer window is open at the State the parent will need to complete a new online application. Paper forms will not be accepted.

• Waitlist for transfers is only for the current school year. Each year we will start a new list for each grade.

• Students who are currently on a transfer DO NOT need to fill out another transfer.

Requests for Intra-District Transfers for the 2025-26 school year will open on March 3, 2025. Requests should be communicated by April 1, 2025 to ensure there is a place for your student. A link to complete an Intra-District Transfer request will appear here on March 3, 2025.
