Leading Facilities and Technologies

All certified staff members receive advanced technology devices and the training you need to help you create a learning environment for your students.  

Classrooms include interactive whiteboards, document cameras, enhanced audio, and student devices.

  • Chromebooks are provided for ALL 4-12th graders.

  • All schools have a dedicated Educational Technology Contact Teacher to assist teachers in using technology in their classrooms.

  • The District provides staff with a learning management system to communicate with students and parents through calendars, teacher homepages, and discussion boards.

Incredible Community Support

In the last 15 years, the Jenks community has passed 15 bond issues worth over $446 million for improving technology, text books, busses, classrooms, and libraries.

  • Since 1987, the Jenks Public Schools Foundation has raised more than $3,000,000 for academic programs, STEM Learning Labs, teacher and staff recognition, and class size initiatives.

  • Each year, parents and community members log approximately 179,000 hours volunteering in our schools.

  • The District offers more than 40 different professional development opportunities exclusively for teachers who are new to JPS.

  • Teachers are reimbursed for adding areas to their Oklahoma teaching certificates.

Competitive Pay and Benefits

We want the best and are willing to pay for it! 

Our average starting pay is $6,248.57, above state minimum.

We even provide funds for classroom supplies.

  • State-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits.

  • The District pays a majority of each teacher’s mandatory retirement contribution. 

  • JPS honors all years of out-of-state experience earned by certified teachers in accredited schools.

  • Retirees who return to the classroom retain all steps on the salary schedule.
