Leading Facilities and Technologies
All certified staff members receive advanced technology devices and the training you need to help you create a learning environment for your students. Classrooms include interactive whiteboards, document cameras, enhanced audio, and student devices. Chromebooks are provided for ALL 4-12th graders. All schools have a dedicated Educational Technology Contact Teacher to assist teachers in using technology in their classrooms. The District provides staff with a learning management system to communicate with students and parents through calendars, teacher homepages, and discussion boards.

Each year, parents and community members log approximately 179,000 hours volunteering in our schools.

State-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits. The District pays a majority of each teacher’s mandatory retirement contribution. JPS honors all years of out-of-state experience earned by certified teachers in accredited schools. Retirees who return to the classroom retain all steps on the salary schedule.
