West Elementary Families,

Welcome to Jenks West Elementary Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten! We look forward to having your child join us as they build foundational skills as lifelong learners. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme School (PYP), our school day embraces the development of the whole child. Our teachers instruct students in literacy, mathematical concepts, discovery, and inquiry of the natural world in science and social studies. Beyond academics, we develop and nurture social skills. Learning through play, both inside the classroom and outdoors, is an integral part of our lesson planning. We promote purposeful play across the curriculum while students learn and grow in all content areas.

● PK Classrooms are located in Building B.

● Multiage PK/K is located at Grace Skilled Nursing and Therapy-Jenks. Grace is an intergenerational multi-age PK/K program in which students participate for two years with daily interactions with the “grands”. Based on interest, 20 students will be selected by lottery to participate.

● K Classrooms are located in both Buildings A and D

Schedules: Pre-Kindergarten classes in Building B meet from 7:55 a.m.- 2:55 p.m. Grace Skilled Nursing and Therapy Center (PK/K), Building B PK/K Multiage, and Kindergarten classes follow the elementary schedule and meet from 8:20 a.m.- 3:15 p.m. each day.
