2024-25 BACK TO SCHOOL REGISTRATION FOR RETURNING STUDENTS

Registration for students returning to Jenks Public Schools in the 2024-25 school year is OPEN NOW! If you have not done so already, please complete registration by August 1, 2024.

Each year, parents/guardians are required to update and confirm information for all Jenks Public Schools students. This process allows the District and school sites to access important information and communicate with JPS families. The information provided by parents/guardians also contains data the District is required to send to the Oklahoma State Department of Education.

IMPORTANT:

Back to school registration is only for students returning to JPS for the 2024-25 school year. To enroll a new student for the 24-25 school year, please click here JPS New Student Enrollment. This link is only for students who have never attended JPS or parents/guardians who do not have a current Parent Portal account.

If you have already enrolled a new student for 2024-25, you do not need to complete Back to School Registration.

Steps to Complete The Back to School Registration:

1.

Login to the PowerSchool Parent Portal at https://powerschool.jenksps.org/public

2.

Click on the white arrow located in the upper right corner of the screen.

3.

Click on “Back to School Update (2024-25)”

PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT CLICK on New Student Registration 2024-25 unless you are enrolling a student who did not attend Jenks Public Schools in 2023-24.

4.

 Click “Next” at the bottom of each page until you get to the “Summary” page.

5.

Click “Submit” when all pages are complete, and you only see green check marks.

6.

Follow the same process for each student. To access a different student, click on the name at the top of the Parent Portal page and follow the same process.

What Documents Are Needed To Enroll a New Student?

No documents are needed for Back to School Registration (returning students), unless your address has changed, on a residence hold, or there are new legal documents pertaining to your student.

If you are enrolling a new student (never attended JPS before) see below for a list of documents needed to complete enrollment.

Overview of items needed to complete the enrollment process for a new student. PLEASE NOTE, this list is not a comprehensive list it is only an overview:

  1. Proof of Residence-see below for a complete list.

  2. Current, up-to-date immunization record or a completed and signed exemption form. Records from a school must be signed by a health professional or a school official, some schools no longer provide this information to us.

  3. Birth Certificate - parent/guardian must provide this document.

  4. Withdraw papers from the previous school - required when school is in session.

  5. Previous School Records
    12th grade-transcript or report cards for grades 8th-11th.
    11th grade-transcript or report cards for grades 8th-10th.
    10th grade-transcript or report cards for grades 8th-9th.
    9th grade-transcript or report card for 8th grade.

  6. Parents/Guardians driver's license.

  7. Divorce Decree or Custody papers.
