Pre-K and Kindergarten Building Principal
I am beginning my 33rd year in education. I have been a classroom teacher, Reading Specialist, and an Assistant Principal in other districts.
I am excited to begin my journey in Jenks Public Schools and be the new Pre-K/Kindergarten Building Principal at Jenks East Elementary.
I have been happily married to my husband, Scott, for 31 years. We have 2 adult daughters, Savannah and Avery.
Abbie Andrus
1st and 2nd Grade Building Principal
This is my 19th year working for Jenks Public schools. I taught first grade for 13 years at Southeast Elementary with six of those years in the Chinese Immersion Program.
I spent the last six years serving as the Southeast Teaching and Learning Specialist. I have two Jenks Trojans of my own in 5th and 7th grade.
I love working for Jenks Public Schools and I am BEYOND excited to join the East Elementary family.
Katie Cooper
3rd and 4th Grade Building Principal
I am beginning my 14th year in education and at Jenks Public Schools. I have taught 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, and served as a Teaching and Learning Specialist.
I graduated from the University of Oklahoma and received my masters degree from Lamar University.
I am excited to be a part of the Jenks East Elementary team and serve the JEE community.
