August 30 - Professional Day - no school for students

September 2 - Labor Day - no school

September 27 - Collaboration - Distance Learning Day for all students

October 16-18 - No school - Fall Break

November 1 - Collaboration - Distance Learning Day for all students

November 25-29 - No school - Thanksgiving Break

December 13 - Collaboration - Distance Learning Day for all students

December 23 - January 6 - No school - Winter Break

January 7 - return to school

January 20 - No school - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

January 31 - Collaboration - Distance Learning Day for all students

February 17 - No school for students - Presidents Day (Professional Day for staff)

February 28 -  Collaboration - Distance Learning Day for all students

March 13 - no school for students (District Conference day)

March 14-21 - No school - Spring Break

April 18 - Collaboration

May 18 - Tentative Last day for students (pending weather days used)

COLLABORATION DAYS

The Jenks Public Schools Instructional Calendar includes days on which students will do their coursework virtually instead of coming to the school building. These are called District Collaboration Days and are times set aside for teachers to work together to identify common instructional needs, and to brainstorm solutions that meet the needs of students at multiple grade levels and in multiple content areas.
