Web Leaders

Jenks Middle School possesses so much potential we sometimes don't know how to show it; however, we do a fabulous job at giving you hints through our WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) program. Each spring, we ask students to apply to lead the next group of incoming 7th graders because we know what a big step this can be - a step that requires knowing who can help us or answer questions in a safe and accepting way.  Our 8th grade WEB leaders volunteer days in the summer to help transition incoming 7th graders into middle school life. They learn leadership skills while helping to create strong bonds before school even starts.

JMS understands that each student who walks through our doors has ideas, dreams, goals, and plans. We also know our students come in with a bit of trepidation and a bit of fear of the unknown. Through WEB and our amazing WEB Leaders, we are able to show them what they don't know which helps quell the worries and concerns that could otherwise ruin their first days and weeks of school. The single most important thing we can do for our middle school Trojans is to welcome them wholeheartedly as well as unconditionally. We do that really well here.

We grow together and learn together. Before you know it, we send them of to high school with reinforced friendship bonds that will help them as they get to their graduation day. And that happens because everyone belongs at JMS.
