Tomorrow will decide if Mr Tucci will get pied during our pep rally on 11/22. I think the addition of his JMS yearbook photo has sealed the deal. Students can change his fate by donating tomorrow during lunch.

🇺🇸JMS honors Veterans🇺🇸

🏃♀️ Fast Feet 🏃♀️
Our Health & Wellness committee encouraged staff to sign up for the Jenks 5K and these ladies showed out! Hallie Sutter won second place overall, Alejandra Nolte got third place in her age group and Alicia Toy won third place in her age group as well. Way to go ladies!

There's been a turn of events!!!!
Beloved 8th grade math teacher Mr Tucci put his name on a bucket and asked kids to donate money to pie him with--specifically--a Key Like pie!!! Thank you Mr Tucci for having fun and promoting school spirit.
StuCo is raising funds for future fun school-wide spirit events. Donations accepted through 11/13.

🐝 Congratulations to Nathania Ellis for winning this year's JMS spelling Bee. After an impressive display of spelling skills, Nathania emerged as the champion spelling her way to victory! A huge shout out to all of our amazing participants who worked hard and gave their best; you are all winners in our book! We're so proud of you, Nathania, for your dedication and determination. We can't wait to see what you achieve next.

8th grade STUCO students attended a program called "Better Conversations" today in the MS media center led by the OKC Bombing Memorial Museum. They discussed leadership, having difficult conversations, and the OKC Bombing. After, they went outside for a rededication ceremony of the middle school Survivor’s Tree”

Who will get a pie in the face?
Kids can donate during lunch.

Students are learning that publishing their work is a rewarding part of the writing process. After writing their personal narrative/memoir essays, these students were chosen as classroom winners to be featured on Mrs. Gunsaulis's classroom publishing wall. Great job authors! 📝

🥧Student Council's fundraiser, Pie a Principal, kicked off yesterday at lunch. Students choose which principal they'd like to see get a pie in the face at our pep rally on 11/22 and vote with their $!

Thank you Redeemer church for providing lunch for our JMS staff today! Yum!
