Thank a school counselor this week! We are so grateful to our incredible JPS counselors for all they do to enrich and enhance the educational experience for our students. These professionals are teaching character traits, tackling challenges alongside teachers and staff, and providing unmatched care and compassion for all students. Our schools wouldn't be the same without them! #NationalSchoolCounselingWeek

Earlier this school year, 3rd and 4th grade students wrote essays about why they wanted a bike and what it would mean to them to have one of their own. Throughout the fall semester, 1️⃣5️⃣ students received free bikes and helmets thanks to the generosity of @swervefoundation. Each bike presentation not only makes a lasting impact on these students but on everyone there experiencing the overwhelming joy and excitement! We love to see these Trojans' dreams come true! 😌🚲 A huge thank you again to The Swerve Foundation and their sponsors Justin Carlton State Farm, Bixby Bicycles and Accessories, Tallgrass Estate Planning, LLP, Jeremiah Lindsey- Flat Branch Home Loans, and Andrew and Lindey Techanchuck. To see more photos including all the bike recipients, please go to our JPS Facebook page.
