Transporting Our Vision

The Jenks Public Schools Transportation Department is an important piece of the Jenks Five "A"s in providing safe and educational transportation for our students.  Our staff embraces the transportation CORE Values of “Safety First – Student Focused – Professional”. Currently, the transportation department has a total of 70 traditional route drivers, 15 special education drivers, and 18 bus assistants - all of whom together transport an average of 5,500 students per day.

Transportation services are provided for all students in grades K-12 who live within the district and are not transfer students.  High School students in grades 9-12 are ineligible within the main city of Jenks as no buses service this area for their grade level and is considered by Jenks Public Schools as a walk zone for high school students only.
