Introducing the 2024-25 Site Teachers of the Year! These educators were selected by their peers at each JPS site because of the way they connect with students, mentor colleagues, innovate in their classrooms, and consistently demonstrate the mission, vision, and values of Jenks Public Schools. These ten individuals are relentless advocates for students and public education. Our community is so fortunate to have teachers like these (and many others), who inspire our next generation of leaders with their genuine care and passion for what they do. Mrs. Green's 2nd grade class decided to take connections and community outside of the classroom for a fun outing. This sweet group of students met up to see Dog Man at the movies recently. It is such a joy to see students and families share time together outside of school while getting to see literature brought to the big screen. Thanks for sharing with us, Trojans!

Once again, JPS patrons have shown unwavering support of our students, staff, and our mission. JPS voters approved two separate bond propositions today totaling $19,600,000 by a margin of 81.4% to 18.6%. Jenks’ voters have now approved 61 of the past 62 bond issues for Jenks Public Schools. Your vote of confidence is deeply appreciated. These bond dollars will allow JPS to continue to provide exceptional resources, facilities, and opportunities to all students. Thank you, voters!

Pre-K and Kindergarten enrollment for the 2025-26 school year is OPEN NOW!

You can complete the entire process online but be sure you have a digital copy of all the required forms listed below. You must upload these required forms to complete enrollment:
- Proof of residence (utility bill or copy of lease)
- Driver’s license of parent
- Current immunization records or a completed and signed exemption form
- Certified birth certificate
- Custody/Guardianship and Divorce Decrees (if applicable)
- Other information (if applicable)
Enrollment is for first-time students only! If your child was enrolled in Pre-K this year, you do not need to re-enroll to enter Kindergarten next year. If your child was not in Pre-K at JPS but will attend Kindergarten at JPS, you must complete enrollment.
Students must be four on or before September 1, 2025 to be enrolled into Pre-K 4. This date is set by the State of Oklahoma.
Students must be five on or before September 1, 2025 to be enrolled into Kindergarten.

Parents of future Trojans...get ready! Pre-K and Kindergarten enrollment for the 2025-26 school year opens at 9 a.m. on Monday, February 10. At that time, a link will appear on the homepage of the Jenks Public Schools’ website (jenksps.org) and on the JPS Enrollment Center webpage (https://www.jenksps.org/page/enrollment). Parents must wait for the 2025-26 link to enroll. The forms available now on the Enrollment Center webpage are for this year only. Enrollments cannot be transferred from one year to another. Enrollment is for first-time students only! If your child was enrolled in Pre-K this year, you do not need to re-enroll to enter Kindergarten next year. If your child was not in Pre-K at JPS but will attend Kindergarten at JPS, you must complete enrollment. Enrollments will be processed on a first-come-first-serve basis. Students have been busy discovering new facts about the mascot in our JEE Reads book The Worst Mascot Ever. Although armadillos are not native to Connecticut, as our story discusses, we do have these critters here in Oklahoma! It is has been enlightening to learn more about them and the role of a mascot in a school community. Great job, Mrs. Griffith's class for these cool JEE Armadillos!
In Mrs. Neal-Spears class, creativity + writing + hard work = these adorable snow globe writings! Check out the incredible content, mechanics and penmanship our 4th grade students have exhibited through this imaginative writing prompt. Thank you Mrs. Neal-Spears for such an entertaining way for students to practice their skills and demonstrate growth!
JEE Reads 2025 is underway! We cannot wait to hear what families think about our new book The Big Idea Gang: The Worst Mascot Ever. Our pep rally last Friday was a huge success to reveal our book and get our students excited to read this book. We cannot thank our community enough for making it so much fun to learn! A special thank you to our mascots that joined us and the Jenks JV pom squad!
