JEE... Where ALL Belong. This year at Jenks East Elementary, our hallways and common areas are filled with "family portraits" from each class. A celebration of connection and community.

Big congratulations to the winners of our Yearbook Art Contest from our 3rd and 4th graders. Amazing job, artists! We’re so proud of your creativity!

🚗🥚 Egg-cellent Engineers in Action! 🥚🚗
Ms. Harris' fourth graders just wrapped up their "Egg Racers" science unit with a crackin' final challenge!
Students built rubber-band powered cars to race their egg passengers—learning all about energy transfer, teamwork, and the thrill of science in motion!
From designing and testing to naming their brave little eggs (Go Eggward and Shelly!), these young scientists showed off their creativity and collaboration every step of the way.
We’re SO proud of our future engineers and their egg-straordinary work!

📍 918 Day at Jenks East Elementary! Mayor Monroe Nichols stopped by for a special visit, getting a student-led tour of the Rentie Grove Historical Trail — a powerful tribute to the community that once stood where the school now stands.
Special guest John Green, a former Rentie Grove resident and student, joined the celebration, bringing history to life with his presence.
👏 Shoutout to Harry Maud, Jenks High senior and former East Elementary student, who created the trail as part of his Eagle Scout project. He and current JEE students shared fascinating facts from 1905 and beyond as they guided Mayor Nichols through this incredible piece of local history.
What a day to celebrate Jenks, our past, and our bright future! 🌟

She holds a Master’s degree in Reading Education from Northeastern State University and is well known for creating inclusive, engaging environments where students feel supported and inspired to learn. Hayley is deeply committed to supporting a school community where all students can thrive both academically and socially. She values strong collaboration with staff, students, and families to ensure success for every learner. Hayley and her husband, Doug, are proud parents of four children who are, or have been, Jenks Trojans.
We're excited to welcome Hayley as a part of the Jenks East Elementary community!

If you have not done so already, please complete Back to School Registration by this Friday, May 30. All returning students are required to update their information prior to the beginning of the 2025-26 school year. Failure to register your child for the 2025-26 school year could delay schedule pick up, meet the teacher, correct bus stop information and correct school assignment. Students who have been placed on hold due to residence can upload your proof of residence on your child's registration. If you have moved out of district, transfer applications will be available June 1, 2025 and MUST be submitted online. Transfer requests will begin being reviewed on July 7 and parents will be notified by email. All information regarding transfers is on the JPS website under "Enrollment." Go to jenksps.org for step-by-step instructions on completing registration. Thank you!

The last Collaboration Day of the year is tomorrow, Trojans.

Enjoy your spring break, Trojans! We will see you back at school Monday, March 24th!
