When math and the real world collide - Mrs. Dziadula is ready with fun and delicious ideas! Mrs. Dziadula chooses to teach math in real life experiences such as baking pumpkin bread with her students. Not only does this allow them to flex many math skills but students also get to practice reading comprehension and application of a recipe. Way to be JEE, Mrs. Dziadula!

All students are encouraged to start their day at the track at 8:00 for a quick lap or two around the playground! Students who eat breakfast must eat breakfast before the walk. Students will be released to head to class at the appropriate time!

Help us celebrate International Dot Day on Monday, September 16. Dot Day is a global celebration of creativity, courage, and collaboration that began with Peter H. Reynolds' book, The Dot. Students are encouraged to wear their most creative outfit to school!
We're super thankful to Wal-Mart at 81st & Lewis for generously donating gift cards to help support our new RISE program at JEE. This program is designed to provide extra support to those who need it. Research indicates that foods high in protein help support kiddos who are struggling with school attention and behavior challenges. Thanks to these gift cards, we're set with snacks! THANK YOU!
The Book Fair Committee is in search of crafty people! If you love crafting, decorating, designing, dreaming, and/or helping in any capacity, we want you! We need your help choosing a book fair theme and bringing it to life.

It's that time again, Jenks East! We look forward to welcoming back our Trojan Tots. New this year: Friday mornings! We hope to see our littlest Trojans (birth- 4) on Friday mornings when school is in session. Come join us for a great time to play with new friends, create art projects, sing, and hear stories! We can't wait to meet you!
