Library Leaders in building F ensure that our media center keeps rolling smoothly. These students help prepare the library for the day and clean it up before leaving. Great job Trojans!

It’s almost time! Pre-K and Kindergarten enrollment for the 2024-25 school year opens on Monday, February 19 at 9 a.m. At that time, a link will appear on the homepage of the Jenks Public Schools’ website (jenksps.org) and on the JPS Enrollment Center webpage (https://www.jenksps.org/page/enrollment). Parents must wait for the 2024-25 link to enroll. The forms available now on the Enrollment Center webpage are for this year only. Enrollments cannot be transferred from one year to another. Enrollment is for first-time students only! If your child was enrolled in Pre-K this year, you do not need to re-enroll to enter Kindergarten next year. If your child was not in Pre-K at JPS but will attend Kindergarten at JPS, you must complete enrollment. Enrollments will be processed on a first-come-first-serve basis. Parents will receive the following emails during the enrollment process: • When an account is created in P Enrollment • When the application is submitted for review • When the Enrollment Center has approved the application You can complete the entire process online but be sure you have a digital copy of all the required forms. You will need the following documents to complete enrollment: • Proof of residence (utility bill or copy of lease) • Driver’s license of parent • Current immunization records • Certified birth certificate • Custody/Guardianship and Divorce Decrees (if applicable) • Other information (if applicable) Questions? Contact the JPS Enrollment Center at enrollment.center@jenksps.org or 918-298-0338.

Thank a school counselor this week! We are so grateful to our incredible JPS counselors for all they do to enrich and enhance the educational experience for our students. These professionals are teaching character traits, tackling challenges alongside teachers and staff, and providing unmatched care and compassion for all students. Our schools wouldn't be the same without them! #NationalSchoolCounselingWeek

Students at JEE are empowered to make a difference at school. These students applied for the "job" of Greeter Leader. They take the responsibility seriously of making sure every student knows it matters that he or she came to school today. We are proud of these greeters who spread positivity everyday on our campus! Way to be JEE!

One of the highlights of 4th grade is the chance to apply to the Safety Patrol team. This is a position that comes with a lot of responsibility and leadership. We've had a wonderful group of 1st Semester Safety Patrol leaders. From this group, the school collectively helped choose the Safety Patrol Captains that will help support our 2nd Semester Safety Patrol squad. Introducing our 23-24 Safety Patrol Captains! Congratulations!! *Not pictured: Blake Housley

Our tiniest Trojans love the weekly Trojan Tots program. This weekly time is geared to provide an enrichment opportunity for the little ones. Come join us as we create art, sing songs, read books, and learn to play with our new friends. A big shout-out to Megan Desmarais from Megan's Piano, who is a fabulous partner sharing her gifts just for us! We love Miss Megan. Join us every Thursday morning when school is in session from 9 - 10 at Building B!

Exactly two weeks from today, you can play a part in shaping the future of Jenks Public Schools. Set that reminder in your phone now and go VOTE on Tuesday, February 13 in the JPS Bond Election. How will the bond dollars be used? Why does this matter for my student? How does this impact the District's finances? Great questions. Find those answers and a detailed list of bond items at jenksps.org.
