All students eat for FREE! No paperwork is necessary. Children must eat meals at the serving location, no carry-out meals are allowed. Children do not have to be enrolled at Jenks Public Schools to receive a meal. Summer Feeding is open to all children in the community.
Family members are also invited to eat. The adult meal cost is $3.00 for breakfast and $5.00 for lunch.
It is time to update and confirm information for your students for the 2023-24 school year. This process provides the District and school sites with important contact information used to send communication to you. It also contains data the District is required to send to the State Department of Education. This must be completed prior to Schedule Pick-up, Seventh Grade Orientation, or Meet the Teacher events. Information about these events will be sent from your student’s site.
The registration process is completed through your PowerSchool Parent Portal account. The web address for PowerSchool Parent Portal is https://powerschool.jenksps.org/public/home.html
***PLEASE NOTE: If your student did not attend Jenks Public Schools last school year (2022-23) and your student is enrolled for the upcoming school year (2023-24), you do not need to complete the Back to School Registration. Your information is already current based upon your student's recent enrollment.***
Step-by-Step Instructions for Completing Registration:
Login to PowerSchool Parent Portal at https://powerschool.jenksps.org/public/home.html
Click on the white arrow, located in the upper right corner of the screen.
Click on “Back to School Update (2023-2024)” DO NOT CLICK on New Student Registration 2023-2024 unless you are enrolling a student who did not attend Jenks Public Schools in 2022-2023.
Click "Next" at the bottom of each page until you get to the "Summary" page.
Click "Submit" when all pages are complete and you only see green check marks.
Follow the same process for each student. To access a different student, click on the name at the top of the Parent Portal page and follow the same process.
If you do not have access to a computer, the Tulsa City-County Library System has computers available for public use.
If you have questions about completing the Back to School registration process, please contact your student’s site or click here to submit a ticket for help. The District will also have a Back to School Hotline answering calls beginning Monday, August 7, 2023. The Back to School Hotline can be reached at (918) 298-4343.

Jenks East Elementary Trojans spent the month of June becoming Difference Makers! Students identified, learned, and connected with the word empathy. After visiting the Aquarium and Turkey Mountain, they brainstormed ways they can apply empathy to both animals and people. Using engineering, students solved problems to help birds with broken wings, keep people on their identified trails, and build a shelter for animals in need. Today, students proudly showcased their creations to their friends and family as official Difference Makers. We love to see it!
Transformation COMPLETE! In just four short weeks, the old surface at Allan Trimble Stadium was replaced with new, pristine turf. This is a field worthy of champions.
Thanks to our partners at Forever Lawn Tulsa for their incredible work on this project, and thank you to Jenks voters who approved bond propositions to secure the funding. Can't wait to see our athletic teams, our band, and our entire community benefit from this turf!

⚠️ In extreme cases where the parent must pick up the diploma, the parent must bring a note signed by the graduate.

Every afternoon, David Winn sits in front of his house and waves at students from West Intermediate and West Elementary as they roll by on the bus. It’s something David looks forward to every single day, and it’s something our students and bus drivers absolutely love.
Today, members of the JPS Transportation Department gathered in David’s driveway to present him with the “Spirit of Transportation” Award and personally thank him for his commitment and contribution to the JPS culture. Congrats, David! Thank you for all you do to build up our people and make our community a better place!
Ideas are good. Taking action on those ideas is even better. Students in the Dual Language Program at Jenks East Intermediate recently participated in advocacy projects in which they identified problems in the community and came up with solutions. When they realized not all students have access to books at home, they started a school-wide book drive and collected more than 3,000 books! They donated 1,500 to the OSU-Tulsa Stache of Books program to distribute in the Greenwood Community and today, they loaded the other 1,500 books on the Trojans Read the Way Bookmobile. The Bookmobile will be out and about in Jenks and South Tulsa throughout the summer months. What an incredible act of kindness and generosity from these JEI Trojans! Thanks to all who donated!

Take a glance into Jenks West Elementary's 4th grade Exhibition!
Exhibition is a culminating experience for 4th grade students to apply the attitudes, skills, and knowledge they have gained during their journey at JWE. Students have been working hard to collaborate on presentations that involves them identifying, investigating, and offering solutions to real-life issues or problems. Topics are widely ranging from homeless animals, pollution, bullying, poverty, etc. We love to see it! Great work, Trojans!

Congratulations to Jenks High School sophomore, Harini Senthil for being selected as a winner of the Jiffy Lube "What Drives You" $1000 scholarship! Harini is one of four winners out of 170 submissions from 22 schools in the greater Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Glenpool, and Owasso areas. She will be featured on the Jiffy Lube Tulsa high school posters in the fall, and her video submission will be posted on the Jiffy Lube website. Way to go, Harini!

This is the 4th year that Jenks High School seniors in Mr. Foster's English class have paired up with Jenks West Elementary first grade students in Ms. Treat's class to write a book! Today, first graders took a trip to the JHS Media Center to finally see and read the book the seniors wrote about them. Afterward, they played board games, built legos, and had an intense game of musical chairs! We love to see Trojans come together and have fun!
