Congrats to Jenks Pom on finishing runner...WAIT. WHAT? Correction - Jenks Pom took state! After the OSSAA determined a judging error was made during the state competition, the Trojans were named the 6A Large School State Champs! The girls were surprised, shocked, and thrilled to learn the news, and we are so proud of this achievement and all the hard work they put in to make it happen! With this championship, Jenks has now won 200 athletic state championships in school history (who's counting?)! It's over 200 if you count the fine arts and activities state titles. #homeofchampions

It was a reel great afternoon for Jenks East Intermediate students who participated in the lunch fishing club! 😉🎣 This small lunch club hosted by parent volunteer, Matt Knox, had their last class today. Students were given fishing poles donated by Zebco to practice casting their lines with, but were surprised at the end of the class to find out the poles were theirs to keep. Thank you, Matt Knox, for volunteering your time and to Zebco for your donation to these Trojans!

Inventing, designing, coding, and problem solving is exactly what Jenks East Intermediate 5th grade students have been up to recently. Students collaborated together to create robots, video games, and structures. This afternoon, the JEI STEM Lab was filled with students showcasing their hardwork to their friends and families! Y'all ready for Friday night? Judging by the decibel level at the pep rally today, the student body at Jenks High School can't wait to take on a suburban school to the south. Even the Superintendent went for a spin on the mechanical bull! Huge thanks to Channel 6 for presenting the Spirit Stick and to Jenks alum and Super Bowl champ, Darwin Thompson for making a special appearance. Let's go Trojans!

Wow! What an incredible morning spent at Jenks Middle School! 🎼🧬🦎🇺🇸
Dr. Butterfield was serenaded by Mr. Brown's 7th grade Vocal Music students, sat in on DNA trait research presentations, and was introduced to Mr. Ratliff's leopard gecko, Dread! Her last stop was in Mr. Ford's 8th grade US history class where students shared their artwork on what life in the colonies was like. Thank you, teachers, for having us in your classrooms today!

Happy Halloween from Taylor Swift, a dinosaur, Jack Skellington, Fancy Nancy, Rainbow Fish, and a tiger! 🤩📚🎃 Jenks Southeast Elementary Trojans kicked off Halloween by dressing up as their favorite book character and parading down the halls. Prepare yourselves for these not-so-spooky, but adorable pictures!

Thanks to the Jenks Public Schools Foundation, all 11th grade students had the opportunity to visit University of Oklahoma's Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art. This Growing Through the Arts experience allowed juniors to explore the art of various periods and cultures in one of the finest university art museums in the United States. The incredible opportunity to immerse our Trojans in different forms of art from around the world wouldn't have been possible without the funding from the JPSF! #5AFriday #Arts
