Spring Tryouts for Fall Basketball

Eligibility Requirements: Must be a Jenks student with a valid student ID number currently in grades 6th - 11th who will be an incoming 7th - 12th grader in August of 2025.

Athletes must bring the following to tryouts: All participants must wear a white t-shirt that can be written on with permanent marker. Coaches will write a number on the shirt to distinguish participants, and use those numbers to post try-out results. Parents should fill out this pre-registration form prior to the tryout date.

Tryouts for Current 6th Graders (2024-25 school year)

• Date: May 8th

• Time: 4:00 pm to 5:30pm

• Location: Jenks PEG North

Tryouts for Current 7th & 8th Graders (2024-25 school year)

• Date: May 5th

• Time: 4:00 pm to 5:30pm

• Location: Jenks Middle School Gym

Tryouts for Current 9th - 11th Graders

• Date: May 6th

• Time: 4:00 pm to 5:30pm

• Location: JHS PEG North

Process for Students Transferring or Moving Into District

If you are considering transferring or moving into the district and do not have a JPS student ID number yet, you are not allowed to tryout or speak with our coaches due to OSSAA policies on recruiting.

We ask that you contact the athletic department Trojan.Athletics@jenksps.org or 918-299-4415 x2214. We will provide you with information on our boys basketball program or set up a meeting with the athletic director if needed. You will continue going through our department staff for your athletic needs until you move into district and/or obtain a current student ID number. At that point, we will get you in touch with our coaches.
