Congratulations to Jenks High School senior, Vung Neam, for being selected for the 2025 Dell Scholars Cohort! The Jenks AVID student is one of only 500 students in the nation to receive the Dell Scholarship. As a Dell Scholar, Vung receives $20,000 per year on top of any scholarships already received (for 6 years), access to personalized support, a Dell laptop, book credits for four years, mental health and wellness support, and guidance for career success.
Special thanks to the teachers and administrators like Jinafer Brown and Eric Fox, who have provided so much support and guidance to Vung along the way!
We’re so thrilled for you, Vung! We are excited to see how you use this incredible opportunity to pursue and achieve your dreams!

This past weekend, we got spooky with the Jenks Vocal Music production of "The Addams Family!" It was a creepy, kooky, and unforgettable highschool musical event filled with stunning vocals, unforgettable moments, and spooky and wonderful characters!

Mrs. Haase's students were having fun playing this game to determine the effectiveness of different defenses on different pathogens.

Check out the JHS Theatre production of Ken Ludwig's "The Game's Afoot." You can watch this comedic thriller at the JHS Performing Arts Center from March 6-8 at 7 p.m. Tickets are 7$ for students and $10 for adults.

The JHS ASL Club had a silent dinner last week. Silent dinners encourage immersion in sign language, fostering a deeper understanding and improving fluency. This setting also helps students build confidence in using sign language in a social context. Some future ASL Club events include DeafNation Expo in OKC, Andy B's, The Renaissance Fair in Muskogee and a day at the zoo.

Introducing the 2024-25 Site Teachers of the Year! These educators were selected by their peers at each JPS site because of the way they connect with students, mentor colleagues, innovate in their classrooms, and consistently demonstrate the mission, vision, and values of Jenks Public Schools. These ten individuals are relentless advocates for students and public education. Our community is so fortunate to have teachers like these (and many others), who inspire our next generation of leaders with their genuine care and passion for what they do. Please join us in congratulating them!

Once again, JPS patrons have shown unwavering support of our students, staff, and our mission. JPS voters approved two separate bond propositions today totaling $19,600,000 by a margin of 81.4% to 18.6%. Jenks’ voters have now approved 61 of the past 62 bond issues for Jenks Public Schools. Your vote of confidence is deeply appreciated. These bond dollars will allow JPS to continue to provide exceptional resources, facilities, and opportunities to all students. Thank you, voters!

Polls are open right now and will stay open until 7 pm. Please go vote in the JPS Bond Election! Thank you!

Rain or shine, the Jenks High School Class of 2025 is prepped and ready for the future! Today, the entire senior class had the opportunity to hear from business leaders and industry professionals to help prepare for college and career possibilities at our PrepYou Senior Conference at OSU-Tulsa. Big thanks to Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell for inspiring our seniors, to Senator Dave Rader for showing up to support our future leaders, and to all of our presenters, organizers, and the Jenks Public Schools Foundation! The journey to success starts now! 🎓➡️

Just a couple of Jenks lifers getting crowned! Congrats to Sam and Erinn on being named Jenks High School Homecoming King & Queen for 2024, and congrats to all members of the Homecoming Court! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvEa56yPQMw

What an incredible and serendipitous moment! Today, while in Mrs. Suttons class, Din Dai was recognized as one of the September Seniors of the Month. In full circle, Mrs. Sutton pulled out her Senior of the Month award from exactly 20 years ago! Truly, a Tradition of Excellence.

We know how to make an entrance. The ribbon was cut this morning on the beautiful new arches at the south end of the Jenks High School campus. This project was made possible thanks to the generosity of the Short family in partnership with the Jenks Public Schools Foundation. The stunning stone and brick design was completed by our friends at LDKerns Contractors and WRA Architects, Inc.

Green grass all around, all around (and year-round)! Students at Jenks High School are enjoying the new turf, benches, berms, and shade structures – all part of the recently completed campus beautification project. Enormous thanks to Jenks Student Council and all the students who organized and donated to Jenks Dub Week for their vision and contributions in creating this incredible space! Another example of bond dollars at work and sensational partnerships with Crossland Construction Company, Inc., GSHelms & Associates Architecture, and ForeverLawn in Oklahoma. What a transformation!
