Put a reminder in your phone now and VOTE in the JPS Bond Election on Tuesday, February 10. More details and a full list of proposed projects here https://www.jenksps.org/page/bond-election

This week, students across the District participated in the Global Hour of AI, exploring coding and artificial intelligence through a single, creative activity. Whether they were beginners or already familiar with coding, every student had the opportunity to jump in and discover something new. Students created games, animations, and stories while strengthening key JPS Portrait of a Graduate attributes, such as thinking critically, communicating effectively, and showing resilience as they worked through challenges. They also gained awareness of high-demand career paths in computer science and AI, where these skills are more important than ever. We’re thrilled to have so many students participate and see what’s possible through coding and AI!

Changing the course of their future. Daniel Akindehin, Anna Bui, and Holland Thompson are bound for three of the top universities in the country after qualifying as finalists and being selected as QuestBridge National College Match recipients. These Jenks High School seniors received full, four-year scholarships covering tuition, housing, food, and other expenses to Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)(Daniel), Columbia University (Anna), and Washington University in St. Louis (Holland).
