Our first Dynamic Dads was a great success. Important gentlemen in our students' lives shared a story about Perseverance in the classrooms.
Several members of the Jenks Varsity Football team spoke to our students about the character trait of Perseverance. The boys shared about the importance of getting back up and trying, even when you feel defeated. Our students listened intently and we loved having these special guests as role models for our students!
We are so appreciative of our JEI PTAG! We were treated to snacks, drinks and big smiles! Thank you for the love!
The Book Fair is happening soon!
We are in need of volunteers to help students purchase books for our Fall Book Fair! The fair will run September 30-October 9th. Volunteers help for 2-hour shifts. The 7:00 am shift is the one we are the most in need to fill due to it being our busiest time. Please click on the link below or in the email sent by homeroom teachers today to sign up!

Our JEI 6th Graders are enjoying Jenks Wild, Day 1. The generosity of the Jenks Public Schools Foundation, and a lot of hard work from our teachers and staff, help to make this week a great learning environment for students.
Our Trojan Trotters walking track is open every morning before school for students to come take a lap or two before school. Students can go straight from the bus oval or if they come from the car line, they can drop their backpacks off inside the building then come to the track anytime before 7:30 am. Come trot with us!
Our first Freckles Friday is coming up! If you purchased a pass through PTAG, they will have a punch card in the cafeteria. If you didn't purchase a pass, and you wish for your child to have Freckles Frozen Custard on Friday, send $3 cash and they can pay in the cafeteria.
Congratulations to JEI's Amy Kelley for being awarded the Jenks Public Schools Foundation Vision of Excellence Award. Amy has positively impacted countless families in her 8 years at JEI.
